III Evaluation Benchmark Resolution 49/3 of the United Nations Human Rights Council on the situation in Nicaragua

Twenty-one human rights organizations, motivated by the serious deterioration of the socio-political and human rights crisis that Nicaragua is going through, present the Assessment Framework of Resolution 49/3 which aims to monitor the level of implementation that the State of Nicaragua has given to the recommendations contained in this resolution approved by the United Nations Human Rights Council on March 31, 2022.

III Evaluation Benchmark Resolution 46/2 of the United Nations Human Rights Council on the situation in Nicaragua

Twenty one human rights organizations, motivated by the serious human rights situation that Nicaragua is going through, join forces to prepare this third and final Evaluation Framework, which aims to assess the level of implementation of the recommendations contained in Resolution 46/2 of the United Nations Human Rights Council by the State of Nicaragua.

Framework of Evaluation Resolution 46/2 of the United Nations Human Rights Council on the situation in Nicaragua

Thirteen organizations that defend human rights, motivated by the serious human rights situation that Nicaragua is going through, joined forces to prepare the second Framework of Evaluation of Resolution 46/2, an update of the monitoring of compliance with the recommendations of the resolution approved by the Human Rights Council of the United Nations last March 23, 2021.

PO2) Urges the Government to publicly condemn any attack or act of intimidation [against human rights defenders] and to guarantee accountability for such acts, and to adopt measures to guarantee a safe and conducive environment so that these people can carry out their work freely.
